Switzerland - Days 1 & 2

We are having a great time!

The drive down was nerve wracking for about the first 10 second and then it was like second nature to drive at ridiculously high speeds on the Autobahn! Ok, I only went ridiculously fast once, until Christian ruined it by pointing out how fast I was going in MPH (about 105!!) and I slowed down. When you are concentrating on driving, you don't take the time to convert MPH to KPH and when you are keeping up with traffic, the KPH can get away from you fast!

Switzerland is a beautiful country! Not that Germany isn't, but in Switzerland everything is beautiful. For example, this is one of the views from Christian's bedroom:

By the way, I was informed that these are not mountains, but only hills. We will see the mountains today and Wednesday.

This is Sacha's house:

Sunday we went to a few villages to look around. Yesterday we went to quite a few places. Grocery shopping, Germany, France, The Goetheanum, Rudolf Steiner-Schule (the Waldorf school that Sacha went to), two lakes that were built by the Romans, some hermit caves that pre-date the Romans, the Basel water tower, a few castles, a village that was founded in 1295 (!!) and a few more villages.

More pictures are here.
